RMS activated its annual Hope To Dream event in partnership with The Salvation Army National Capital Area Command on August 3, 2024 at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf, MD.
For this event, RMS will be leveraging The Salvation Army's National Capital Area Command Turning Point Center for Women and Children program, which offers a two-year transitional housing program for women, helping them learn independent living skills in a secure environment.
The event was a memorable day for the families, filled with joy, support, and the excitement of attending a Southern Maryland Blue Crabs baseball game. Our beneficiaries will enjoyed a complimentary lunch, a DJ, face painters, a meet and greet with the SOMD Blue Crabs “Pinch”, kids activities and more!
RMS donated the following to the Salvation Army’s Turning Point Center for Women and Children program:

75 Sets of Twin Sheets and Pillowcases
75 Coverlets with Platforms
75 Twin Comforters
75 Twin Encasements
This donation exceeds more than $175,000 in beds and bedding to support this event.
